Your coworkers remotely access the application, which executes on the virtual computer's desktop in the Cloud. However, for them, there is no visible difference: they launch the shortcut, and the application window appears on their desktop.

Any coworker who then needs the application can connect to it in a matter of seconds, without having it installed on his/her computer... very efficient for occasional use.

Thus you maximize the investment which has been made in client software licenses by mutualizing accesses.

You only pay the virtual computer in the Cloud by the hour: a cost saver for new versions tests. Fewer complex deployments to manage on your site.

Most of client software can be externalized this way, unless maybe 3D applications and multimedia applications whose refresh rate will be slow.
