The problem

Deploy your servers in the Cloud. Put in place the appropriate security technologies to guarantee your transactions between your HQ and your servers in the Cloud.

A VPN technology is no longer needed for this access.

Adding a new site (new subsidiary) is then simplified, since any client computer can access your servers through the Internet.

If you want to lessen latency, you can replicate the servers with a few clicks and within minutes to your coworkers' closest location to serve them better.

For example, on the drawing above, the Web server and mail server have been kept in France, because their traffic is not big and can bear up with a transatlantic latency around 100ms.

On the other hand, the file sharing server and the business specific server handle huge quantities of data with the clients, so your coworkers can work more efficiently with having them replicated to their closest location.
